NATIVE BLOOM

ABOUT US
We're brooke & cody
Husband + Wife. Storytellers. Emotion Chasers. Lovers of Light + Honest Moments.
We’re the creative duo behind Native Bloom Photography Co. — partners in love, art, and way too many inside jokes. Together, we capture stories that feel alive: the moody, emotional, and beautifully imperfect moments that make your love yours.
We met while working in the wedding industry years ago, and what started as friendly rivalry (Brooke almost didn’t hire Cody, true story) turned into the kind of partnership that just works — in life and behind the lens.
After years of shooting weddings side by side, we’ve learned there’s nothing your day can throw at us that’ll knock us off our game. We know how to help you breathe, laugh, and stay present, even in the chaos. Whether it’s guiding you through a first look, chasing golden light, or sneaking you away for one quiet moment together — we’ve got you.
Cody’s the calm in the creative storm — connecting easily, giving honest direction, and somehow keeping everything (and Brooke) on track. Brooke’s the creative mind and self-proclaimed edit gremlin, turning emotion into art long after the shoot ends. Together, we bring a balance of structure and soul, helping people feel comfortable, seen, and fully themselves in front of the camera.
This is our life’s work — turning real connection into art that lasts forever.

“The magic isn’t in the picture. It’s in the space between the laughter, the breath, the glance.”

Real Life with Brooke & Cody
A little bit heartfelt, a little bit chaotic — just how we like it. Between weddings, editing marathons, and wrangling our backyard circus, we’ve gotten pretty good at finding beauty (and laughter) in the mess.
Caffeine is our love language.
Cody’s is iced, Brooke’s is whatever’s closest. It’s less about the brew, more about the survival.
We’ve lived a year’s worth of weddings.
After hundreds of “I do’s,” we’ve seen it all — rain, runaway veils, power outages — and we wouldn’t trade a single story for the world.
Our backyard is a little... extra
We’ve got more chickens than the city technically allows (shhh), a pumpkin that took over the garden, & enough tomatoes to open a stand — even though Brooke doesn’t eat them. Add a few rabbits & Walter the poodle, and it’s basically organized chaos… heavy on the chaos.
Big dreams. Charged batteries.
She’s the creative chaos; he’s the one making sure the batteries are charged, the timeline’s tight, and the cabinet doors are closed.
Our love story’s equal parts grit & grace
We’ve lived through long-distance, loss, & a whole lot of learning — and we still show up for each other, every single day.
